This market will resolve to the player who records the most assists through all rounds of the 2026 FIFA World Cup competition. In the event of a tie, this market will resolve according to the official leader as determined by FIFA World Cup rules. If multiple leaders are announced then this market will resolve to the player who completed more passes during the 2026 FIFA World Cup. If a tie still persists, this market will resolve to the player whose listed last name comes first alphabetically. If the 2026 FIFA World Cup competition is cancelled, postponed after August 2, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, or there is otherwise no official leader declared within that timeframe, this market will resolve to “Other”. The resolution source for this market will be official information from FIFA; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used. The tight clustering of implied probabilities around Bruno Fernandes, Michael Olise, and Lamine Yamal reflects their status as primary creators for Portugal, France, and Spain—three sides projected to advance deep into the expanded 2026 tournament. Fernandes enters with elite Premier League assist volume and proven World Cup playmaking pedigree, while Olise and Yamal have posted standout creative numbers in recent club campaigns and hold starting roles on favorites. Comparable paths for Raphinha, Florian Wirtz, and Bukayo Saka, combined with the tournament's group-stage length and knockout opportunities, sustain the even distribution as no single player holds a decisive edge in form, minutes, or team outlook.
