Arthur Fery, seeded fourth and ranked No. 157, holds advantages in form and freshness heading into his Zagreb Challenger round-of-16 clash against qualifier Dominic Stricker (No. 311) on outdoor clay. Fery dispatched Vitaliy Sachko 7-5, 6-3 in the first round on May 12, surrendering few games. Stricker, meanwhile, grinded through qualifying—edging Andrew Paulson 6-1, 6-4 before George Loffhagen retired at 4-1—then outlasted local wildcard Mili Poljicak 7-6(5), 6-7(2), 7-5 on May 13, playing four matches total and risking fatigue. No head-to-head history exists; Stricker's lefty spin suits clay from his No. 88 career high, but Fery's recent straight-sets momentum shapes trader consensus on the matchup.
