This market will resolve to the temperature range that contains the highest temperature recorded by NOAA at the Gimhae Intl Airport Station in degrees Celsius on 7 Sep '26. The resolution source for this market will be information from NOAA, specifically the highest reading under the "Temp" column for all times on this day, available here: https://www.weather.gov/wrh/timeseries?site=rkpk If NOAA data for the observation date is unavailable by 11:59 PM ET on the day following the observation date, the Weather Underground Daily Observations table will be used as the resolution source. In the event that there is no data for the observation date by 11:59 PM ET on the day following the observation date, this market will resolve to the lowest bracket. To toggle between Fahrenheit and Celsius, click the "Switch to Metric Units" button until the relevant table displays °C. This market will resolve once the first data point for the following date has been published on the resolution source, or by 11:59 PM ET on the day following the observation date, whichever comes first. The resolution source for this market measures temperatures to whole degrees Celsius (eg, 9°C). Thus, this is the level of precision that will be used when resolving the market. Revisions to temperatures recorded within this market's timeframe will be considered until the first datapoint for the following date has been published, after which any alterations will not be considered.**Market-implied odds favor a peak temperature of 28–30°C on September 7 in Busan, with 29°C leading at 45.5%.** This reflects current numerical weather model consensus and official guidance from the Korea Meteorological Administration (KMA), which projects a daytime high range of 27–31°C under partly cloudy to clearing conditions. Key drivers include persistent northeasterly flow (15–20+ mph) that moderates coastal warming while allowing diurnal heating under broken cloud cover. Light morning showers or drizzle are possible along the eastern coast on the 6th–7th, but amounts are limited (5–10 mm), with skies trending clearer by afternoon—supporting modest temperature recovery rather than suppression. No typhoon, strong frontal passage, or significant subsidence is indicated in the short-range guidance, keeping conditions near seasonal norms for early September. Recent observations from Busan show highs of 28–29°C on September 5 amid similar easterly flow and partial cloudiness, with model runs (including global ensembles) showing limited spread around 27–29°C maxima for the 7th. Traders appear to be weighting the upper end of the guidance slightly higher, consistent with the potential for clearing skies and reduced marine influence by midday. Updated KMA briefings and the next model cycle will provide the primary near-term catalyst for any shift in implied probabilities before resolution.
