**Recent official and model forecasts position 31°C and 32°C as the clear leading outcomes for Lucknow’s daily maximum on September 5, 2026, aligning with the market’s 46% and 35.5% implied probabilities.** Active monsoon conditions—widespread cloud cover, high humidity near 80–90%, and a 50–80% chance of rain or thundershowers—limit daytime heating and keep the maximum temperature suppressed near seasonal norms. Multiple sources, including India Meteorological Department guidance and international models, project a high of 31–32°C, with some runs showing slight clearing that could allow brief warming to 32°C while others emphasize persistent rain keeping it at or below 31°C. This creates genuine uncertainty between the two values, consistent with their combined ~81.5% market share. Historical September maxima in Lucknow typically range 31–34°C, but enhanced monsoon rainfall this season has trended slightly below average, reinforcing the current positioning. Updated model runs and real-time observations through the afternoon will determine the final recorded high and any late shifts in trader consensus.
