Revisions to temperatures recorded within this market's timeframe will be considered until the first datapoint for the following date has been published, after which any alterations will not be considered.Recent National Weather Service forecasts project a daily maximum near 100°F for Dallas on September 6 under building high pressure, clear skies, and light southeast winds, with heat indices potentially reaching 109°F amid elevated humidity. This aligns with recent observations of 99–100°F readings on September 4–5 and exceeds the 1991–2020 normal high of 92.5°F. Model consensus supports upper-90s to low-100s outcomes, though minor shifts in timing or local heating could alter the precise peak. Trader-implied probabilities concentrate on the 98–101°F range, reflecting the tight forecast envelope and limited downside risk from precipitation or stronger mixing.
