Persistent high pressure and southerly flow under a heat dome are driving the current forecast for Dallas overnight lows near 80°F on September 6, with National Weather Service and multiple models showing upper 70s to low 80s amid mostly clear skies and high humidity that limits radiative cooling. Recent passage of Tropical Storm Edouard remnants has kept moisture elevated without delivering meaningful relief or cloud cover to moderate temperatures. This aligns with the market's leading bins at 80-81°F (43%) and 82-83°F (30.5%), well above the 1991-2020 September 6 climatological average low of 73.6°F, as the entrenched warm pattern shows little sign of shifting before the observation window closes.
