Current National Weather Service forecasts and ensemble models project an overnight low of 79–81°F for Houston on September 11 amid partly cloudy skies, scattered thunderstorms, and light southeast winds, consistent with late-summer climatology where daily minima average near 74°F but often run higher under humid conditions. The closely matched 49.5% market-implied odds on extremes (≤69°F versus ≥88°F) highlight trader focus on forecast uncertainty: stronger nocturnal cooling from clear skies or thunderstorm outflows could push the minimum lower, while persistent cloud cover or delayed frontal passage would support warmer readings. Key upcoming inputs include the next NHC/NOAA model runs and local observations through September 10 that will refine the 24–48 hour low-temperature window.
