Rockstar Games' official June 2026 pricing announcement has anchored trader consensus at a 98% implied probability that the standard GTA 6 edition will not cost $100 or more. The confirmed $79.99 base price across PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S, paired with an Ultimate Edition at $99.99, aligns with established AAA trends and Take-Two's earlier $70–$80 guidance, eliminating speculation about a three-figure standard tag. Pre-order availability and consistent industry reporting have reinforced this positioning ahead of the November launch. While a late price adjustment remains theoretically possible, historical patterns and the publisher's mass-market strategy make any reversal highly improbable before resolution.
