Elsa Jacquemot enters the Strasbourg qualifying clash ranked No. 64, four spots ahead of Anastasia Zakharova, on the red clay courts where both players have posted mixed 2026 results. Jacquemot owns the lone prior meeting, a straight-sets 6-1, 6-2 victory on indoor hard courts in Limoges last December. The French player’s slightly stronger first-serve points won rate and home-country familiarity provide a modest edge, yet Zakharova’s career win percentage and comparable recent form keep the contest competitive. Clay-specific factors such as rally tolerance, return efficiency, and physical freshness after recent travel will likely shape the outcome in this first-round qualifier.
