Sofya Lansere holds a modest edge over Dayeon Back in the W35 Andong semifinal on hard courts, driven by her higher WTA ranking and stronger recent results against tougher opposition. Back has compiled a strong run through the draw, including straight-sets wins over Yuki Naito and others, but faces a Russian opponent with superior experience at this level and a slightly higher win rate on comparable surfaces. No prior head-to-head exists, leaving recent form, ranking differentials, and home-crowd support for the South Korean as the primary variables. Both players enter on limited rest, with the surface favoring baseline consistency over power in what projects as a competitive encounter.
