Chicken Coop Esports enters the ESL Challenger League Season 52 North America Cup #1 playoffs matchup with stronger recent momentum, having captured the ESEA Season 57 NA Finals title in June 2026 along with FRAG TAP Reloaded and an earlier Cup #2 crown. Their stable roster featuring mds as IGL, Drop, REKMEISTER, Crisp, and jared has delivered consistent results across multiple B-tier events. EMPIRE, featuring roster additions like C0C0, BAGEL, and twigs, has posted mixed outcomes, including a recent 2-1 win over LAG Gaming but earlier exits in similar brackets. The best-of-three format favors the side with superior map pool execution and adaptation on staples like Mirage, Inferno, and Ancient, where Chicken Coop’s higher global ranking and prize-winning form provide a measurable edge in the current North American challenger landscape.

In cases where a team’s listed name includes minor discrepancies from the resolution source, this market will resolve based on the underlying real-world match rather than exact name matching. Recognizable abbreviations, alternate or erroneous spellings, sponsor tags, affiliate or academy designations, regional identifiers, and minor formatting differences will be treated as referring to the same team, provided the intended team can be clearly and uniquely identified within the relevant competition. If a listed team name has no reasonable connection to any participating team, or if it matches or could reasonably refer to another team in the same competition such that the intended team cannot be unambiguously determined, this market will resolve 50-50.
