FunPlus Phoenix enters this Esports World Cup 2026 China Qualifier Stage 2 lower-bracket BO3 against JD Gaming after a mixed run that includes a 2-1 win over Wolves Esports and a competitive series with Bilibili Gaming. JD Gaming brings momentum from its earlier-season head-to-head victory over FPX in VCT China Kickoff and sits just below FPX in regional rankings. Both rosters face a double-elimination format where the winner advances to Phase 2 while the loser is eliminated, heightening the stakes for map veto execution on picks like Haven and Ascent. Recent patch 12.05 adjustments and team form over the past week shape trader sentiment around roster consistency and adaptation in this high-stakes qualifier matchup.
