FunPlus Phoenix enters the Esports World Cup China Qualifier Stage 1 grand final with strong recent momentum, securing victories over Wolves Esports and Bilibili Gaming in best-of-three series while showcasing consistent map wins on Ascent and Lotus. Nova Esports advanced through the bracket with a key semifinal win but has struggled against top-tier competition in the China region this season. Head-to-head history heavily favors FunPlus Phoenix, who hold an 8-2 edge in the last 10 encounters, often dominating on maps like Split and Breeze. Rosters remain stable with no late scratches reported, though agent meta shifts and individual duelist performances could influence map picks in the decisive best-of-three.
