The tight race for second place in the 2026 K League 1 reflects a cluster of teams separated by just a handful of points midway through the regular season, with FC Seoul well clear at the top. Gangwon FC sits fifth on 42 points from 29 matches while Ulsan HD, Jeju SK, and Jeonbuk Hyundai Motors occupy second through fourth on 47, 46, and 44 points respectively, all showing inconsistent recent form marked by draws and narrow results. Additional sides including Pohang Steelers, Daejeon Hana Citizen, and Incheon United remain within striking distance, their similar goal differences and head-to-head records contributing to the market's compressed probabilities. Remaining fixtures, including matches among the contenders, continue to shape the narrow gaps reflected in current trader consensus.
