Recent injury concerns for world No. 1 Aryna Sabalenka, including lower-back and hip issues that limited rotation during her Rome exit, have narrowed the gap with clay specialist Iga Świątek in trader pricing for the 2026 French Open. Świątek’s multiple prior Roland Garros titles and stronger recent clay results position her as the slight favorite, while Sabalenka’s hard-court dominance earlier this season has not translated to the red dirt. Coco Gauff’s 2025 title defense and semifinal run in Rome, alongside solid showings from Elena Rybakina and Mirra Andreeva, further tighten the field as the May 24 start approaches.
