Persistent rain and overcast skies across Zhengzhou on September 20, 2026, have suppressed daytime heating, with multiple forecast models and real-time observations converging on a maximum of 23°C. Light northerly winds, high humidity near 80%, and widespread precipitation have limited solar insolation and kept surface temperatures close to the seasonal late-September cooling trend. This aligns with the market’s 94% implied probability for 23°C, reflecting trader confidence in the consensus from numerical weather prediction runs. A sudden clearing of cloud cover or localized subsidence allowing brief solar heating could push readings toward 25°C, though current conditions make significant upward revision unlikely before resolution.
