PSIM, under Jean-Paul van Gastel and targeting a top-10 finish, demonstrated resilience by equalizing late at home versus Persita while integrating new signings. Home advantage and squad depth favor Persebaya in the second half, yet PSIM’s organized defensive structure and counterattacking options—highlighted by recent unbeaten runs in prior head-to-heads—limit clear edges. Historical patterns in Liga 1 encounters between these sides often feature tight scorelines and second-half adjustments, with both teams capable of momentum shifts through substitutions or set pieces. The clustered pricing captures this parity, where neither side has established a dominant edge in recent form or matchup data.
