The 2026 rushing yards leader market reflects a wide-open preseason field driven by returning production from the 2025 campaign. Ahmad Hardy returns to Missouri after leading the SEC with 1,649 yards, though a May leg injury introduces recovery uncertainty in a run-heavy scheme. Kewan Lacy anchors Ole Miss following 1,567 yards and strong preseason recognition, while Justice Haynes and others like LJ Martin and Cam Cook benefit from favorable backfield situations and conference matchups. Depth across multiple programs, combined with variables such as offensive line health, quarterback play, and early-season usage, keeps implied probabilities clustered and responsive to training camp developments or injury reports.
