This market will resolve in favor of the player that finishes Week 1 of the 2026-27 NFL regular season with the most Total QBR (ESPN's Total Quarterback Rating) among qualified players. To qualify, a player must meet ESPN's minimum threshold for Total QBR leaderboard eligibility. Only games designated by the NFL as Week 1 of the 2026-27 regular season count. In the event of a tie, this market will resolve in favor of the tied player with more qualifying dropbacks in Week 1 of the 2026-27 NFL regular season. If a tie still persists, this market will resolve in favor of the player with a higher traditional passer rating in Week 1 of the 2026-27 NFL regular season. If a tie still persists, this market will resolve to "Other". If Week 1 of the 2026-27 NFL regular season is shortened or truncated for any reason, the outcome shall be determined using available Total QBR data for completed games. If Week 1 of the 2026-27 NFL regular season is cancelled, postponed past September 30, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, or it is unclear which player led the NFL in Total QBR among qualified players within that timeframe, this market will resolve to "Other". The resolution source for this market will be official information from ESPN; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.Caleb Williams holds a dominant 91% implied probability in the 2026-27 Week 1 QBR market due to his record-setting performance in the Bears’ 59-37 season-opening win over the Panthers. The third-year quarterback completed 72.4% of his passes for 269 yards and two touchdowns while adding 65 rushing yards and two scores on the ground, powering Chicago to 552 offensive yards and eight touchdowns in the highest-scoring Week 1 game in NFL history. His 94.9 Total QBR tops ESPN’s early Week 1 leaderboard by a wide margin. Other signal-callers posted solid outings but none matched Williams’ efficiency, dual-threat production, or role in a franchise-record offensive explosion. Late adjustments to official QBR calculations or overlooked multi-QB games remain the only realistic paths to a different outcome.
