Napoli’s narrow lead atop the chase for second place in the 2025-26 Serie A table, combined with only two matchdays remaining, underpins the market’s heavy weighting toward the club. With 70 points from 36 matches, the side sits two points clear of Juventus and three ahead of AC Milan and Roma, while Como trails by five; a single win or favorable draw would likely seal the position. Recent form has introduced uncertainty, notably Napoli’s 3-2 home defeat to Bologna that allowed the pursuers to close the gap sharply. Juventus’s stronger recent results and defensive record have kept them in contention, yet the market consensus reflects Napoli’s superior goal difference and schedule edge as decisive. Milan and Roma remain mathematically alive but face steeper required outcomes in their final fixtures, limiting their implied probabilities.

In the event of a tie, this market will resolve to the team officially recognized by Serie A as finishing in second place. If multiple teams are officially awarded second place, the market will resolve to the team whose listed name comes first alphabetically.
If at any point it becomes impossible for the listed club to finish 2nd in the 2025-2026 Serie A season (e.g. they are mathematically unable to achieve enough points), the market will resolve to "No".
If the 2025-2026 Serie A season is cancelled, postponed after May 31, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, or there is otherwise no 2nd place team declared within that timeframe, this market will resolve to “Other”.
The primary resolution source will be official information from Serie A. A consensus of credible reporting may also be used.
