Please note, this market will resolve according to the The Numbers figures provided under Box Office Performance until and including August 31, 2026, regardless of whether domestic refers to only the USA, or to USA and Canada, etc. If there is ambiguity as to whether the resolution source's figures are final, this market will remain open until both https://www.boxofficemojo.com/ and https://www.the-numbers.com/ have confirmed their finalized figures. If there is no final data available by September 30, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, another credible resolution source will be chosen. The Odyssey’s robust post-opening performance, including a $124 million domestic debut and a strong $87 million second weekend with minimal drop-off, has propelled it past $505 million domestically by mid-August on the strength of Christopher Nolan’s proven draw, premium-format earnings, and sustained word-of-mouth for the R-rated epic. Traders see the 550–570 million range by August 31 as the clear consensus because recent holds and historical legs for similar Nolan titles point to roughly 50–65 million in additional domestic revenue over the next two weeks, while upside beyond 570 million remains limited by typical summer fade patterns and the approaching end of peak theatrical windows.
