Trader sentiment for the third-best Chinese AI company by end of October shows a tightly contested field, with multiple contenders holding even implied probabilities around 50% amid rapid large language model advancements. Z.ai leads named options at 36.5% on recent model releases and integrations, followed by Moonshot at 23.5% and Baidu at 13.5%, reflecting strengths in multimodal capabilities, benchmark performance, and enterprise adoption. The spread across Alibaba, ByteDance, DeepSeek, and others underscores uncertainty in competitive positioning, where factors like funding rounds, developer ecosystem growth, and regulatory constraints on data and exports could swing outcomes. Upcoming model launches and third-party evaluations before October remain key swing catalysts for trader reassessment.

Qualifying Chinese AI companies will be ordered primarily by their Lab Rank at the market’s check time. If the results based on the lab ranking are ambiguous or unavailable, the relevant qualifying Chinese AI companies will be ordered according to their highest-ranking AI model in the leaderboard’s “Models” view. If two or more models are tied on rank, they will be ordered by their Arena score, including any underlying, unrounded, granular values reflected in the data below the leaderboard. If a tie still remains, alphabetical order of AI company names as listed in this market group will be used as a final tiebreaker (e.g., if the two models are tied by exact arena score, “Meituan” would be ranked ahead of “Xiaomi”). This market will resolve based on the company that occupies third place under this ranking.
