This market will resolve according to which China team is the first to be eliminated from VALORANT Champions 2026 (also known as VCT Champions 2026), currently scheduled for September 24 to October 18, 2026, in Shanghai, China. For the purposes of this market, the China teams are the four teams that qualified for VALORANT Champions 2026 through the VCT China league as designated by the organizer, Riot Games: TYLOO, JD Gaming, EDward Gaming, and XLG Esports. A team is considered eliminated at the moment it can no longer win the tournament: when it loses its Group Stage elimination match or decider match, when it loses a lower bracket match or the Grand Final in the Playoffs, or when it officially withdraws, is disqualified, or is replaced. The Group Stage (September 24 to October 4, 2026) consists of four four-team double-elimination (GSL) groups, with the top two teams from each group advancing to the eight-team double-elimination Playoffs (October 7 to October 18, 2026). The first team eliminated is the team whose eliminating match concludes first, according to the official match schedule and results. If two or more China teams are eliminated in matches that conclude at the same time, or by the same official announcement, this market will resolve in favor of the team whose listed team name comes first alphabetically. If VALORANT Champions 2026 is canceled, postponed after November 17, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, or no China team has been eliminated within that timeframe, this market will resolve to "Other". If the first China team eliminated is not listed in this market, this market will resolve to "Other". The resolution source for this market will be official information from the tournament organizer, Riot Games, via the VALORANT Esports website (https://valorantesports.com). However, a consensus of credible reporting (e.g., Liquipedia at https://liquipedia.net/valorant/VCT/2026/Champions) may also be used.Four Chinese squads—TYLOO, JD Gaming, EDward Gaming, and XLG Esports—enter VALORANT Champions 2026 in Shanghai with comparable regional pedigrees and distinct group-stage paths that leave their early elimination odds tightly bunched. TYLOO and JD Gaming arrive on the back of a recent VCT China Stage 2 final, while EDG carries prior international success and XLG benefits from consecutive qualification. Each faces non-Chinese opponents in separate groups under a format where two losses end participation, creating parallel risk of an early exit. Home-crowd support and limited prior head-to-head data against the field further compress perceived differences, sustaining even implied probabilities across the four sides heading into the September 24 opener.
