This market will resolve according to the official UFC Light Heavyweight division champion on December 31, 2026 at 12:00 PM ET. Only official UFC division champions will count. Interim champions will not count. If the relevant belt is vacant at this market’s check time, or there is otherwise no champion in the specified division, this market will resolve to “Other”. The primary resolution source for this market will be official information from the UFC (https://www.ufc.com/athletes).Carlos Ulberg captured the vacant UFC Light Heavyweight title with a first-round knockout of Jiří Procházka at UFC 327 in April 2026, fighting through a torn ACL that has sidelined him since. With the champion ruled out for the remainder of the year and no interim title bout or unification scheduled before December, traders have priced in an overwhelming implied probability that he retains the belt at year-end. Recent division activity, including Magomed Ankalaev’s win over Bogdan Guskov and positioning of other ranked contenders, has not produced a title fight opportunity. Only an unforeseen vacancy, medical development, or last-minute UFC intervention would alter the standing.
