With multiple tracks clustered near 50% implied probability for the number two US Spotify song this week, traders see a wide-open race driven by comparable streaming trajectories and release timing. Olivia Rodrigo’s dual entries benefit from strong fan engagement and recent album momentum, while Ariana Grande’s single and Malcolm Todd’s rising track compete on playlist placement and viral potential. Key differentiators include mid-week streaming spikes, promotional campaigns, and competition from the top position, with final Billboard and Spotify updates likely to resolve the deadlock before the August 28 lock.
