Recent forecasts from NOAA and local models indicate Austin will likely see a high near 99–100°F on September 14 under mostly clear skies and southerly flow, with heat indices exceeding 110°F amid elevated humidity. This aligns with the market-implied odds favoring 108°F or higher as the leading outcome, reflecting trader assessment of potential model underestimation during persistent late-summer warmth, while clustered probabilities around 94–105°F capture typical forecast spreads and historical September extremes near 101°F. Short-term updates to steering patterns and moisture could shift these implied probabilities ahead of resolution.
