Recent National Weather Service forecasts for Central Park and area airports project a Monday high of 76–77°F after Sunday’s rain and thunderstorm activity clears, with northwest winds promoting drier air and moderating temperatures. This aligns with the market’s leading 76–77°F outcome at nearly 50% implied probability. Model consensus and climatological context—September’s average high near 77°F—support mid-70s readings under partly to mostly sunny skies, while any slower clearing or stronger onshore flow could shift results toward the 74–75°F or 78–79°F brackets. Traders are weighting the latest official guidance and expected model runs ahead of the day’s maximum reading.
