Recent National Weather Service and local forecasts position a high near 89–92°F as the most likely outcome for Denver on September 7, driven by partly sunny to mostly cloudy skies with scattered thunderstorms that could limit peak heating. Model consensus shows daytime temperatures climbing into the upper 80s or low 90s before afternoon convection develops, consistent with early September patterns running several degrees above the 1991–2020 average high of 82°F. Thunderstorm timing and coverage remain key variables that could shave a degree or two off the daily maximum if storms arrive earlier than expected. Updated model runs and NWS briefings in the next 48 hours will refine these probabilities ahead of market resolution.
