Recent forecasts indicate a polar air mass arriving behind a cold front will suppress maximum temperatures in São Paulo on September 7, with official and model guidance centering on 12–15 °C under mostly cloudy skies and light rain or drizzle. This setup deviates from early-September climatological highs near 23 °C, as southeasterly flow and high pressure maintain cooler, stable conditions through the day. Model runs show limited diurnal warming, keeping afternoon peaks below 16 °C with high confidence in the 13–14 °C range. Updated guidance from meteorological agencies on frontal position and boundary-layer moisture will refine resolution criteria for the daily maximum before markets close.
