Official NWS forecasts project a Seattle high near 70°F on September 7 under cloudy skies, light southerly winds, and a modest marine influence that limits afternoon warming, consistent with recent model consensus and observed conditions on prior days. These atmospheric factors position the 68–71°F range as the most probable outcome, aligning with the market’s leading implied probabilities of 42.5% for 68–69°F and 29% for 70–71°F. Cooler-than-normal September readings reflect persistent cloud cover rather than seasonal averages near 72°F, while low odds on extremes underscore limited potential for significant deviation absent rapid clearing. Updated observations throughout the day will refine resolution.
