Recent atmospheric river moisture has cleared from the Pacific Northwest, allowing model consensus from NWS and others to favor mostly sunny to partly cloudy conditions with northerly winds for Seattle on September 6. This setup supports daytime radiative heating toward a high near the 72.8°F climatological average, with limited marine layer intrusion. Forecast highs cluster in the low to mid-70s, explaining tight market probabilities around 70–75°F bins as traders weigh subtle variations in cloud cover, wind strength, and boundary-layer mixing. Updated NHC and local model runs through the weekend will refine these ranges ahead of resolution.
