Recent National Weather Service and model guidance point to overnight lows in the upper 60s to low 70s for Los Angeles on September 6, with marine layer depth, cloud cover from a 50% chance of showers, and reduced radiational cooling under partly cloudy skies creating the tight spread among leading bins. Recent observations at Los Angeles International Airport show nightly minima of 64–67°F early in the month, but increased moisture and lighter winds forecast for the period limit surface cooling compared to clearer historical analogs averaging 64°F. Traders weigh these variables against typical September variability, where dew point and wind patterns can shift the minimum by several degrees before official verification at primary reporting stations.
