Recent National Weather Service and model consensus point to persistent high pressure and mostly clear skies keeping Atlanta's September 4 high in the mid-90s, several degrees above the early-September climatological average of 86°F. Light easterly winds, high humidity, and minimal afternoon convection support temperatures near 95–96°F, with the main uncertainty centered on whether isolated thunderstorms develop early enough to limit peak heating. Historical records for the date reach 97°F, yet current guidance shows no strong signals for extremes above or below the 94–97°F range, leaving trader-implied probabilities closely split between those bins as fresh model runs arrive.
