This market will resolve to the temperature range that contains the highest temperature recorded by NOAA at the Miami Intl Airport Station in degrees Fahrenheit on 2 Sep '26. The resolution source for this market will be information from NOAA, specifically the highest reading under the "Temp" column for all times on this day, available here: https://www.weather.gov/wrh/timeseries?site=kmia This market will resolve off of the Hourly Data provided using the "Show Hourly Data" button. In the event which there is no data for the observation date by 11:59 PM ET on the day following the observation date, this market will resolve to the lowest bracket. To toggle between Fahrenheit and Celsius, click the "Switch to US Units w/ kts" button until the relevant table displays °F. This market can not resolve until the first data point for the following date has been published on the resolution source. The resolution source for this market measures temperatures to whole degrees Fahrenheit (eg, 21°F). Thus, this is the level of precision that will be used when resolving the market. Revisions to temperatures recorded within this market's timeframe will be considered until the first datapoint for the following date has been published, after which any alterations will not be considered.Recent short-term forecasts from sources including WeatherBug and ensemble models indicate Miami highs on September 2 clustering in the upper 80s to low 90s, with partly sunny skies and afternoon thunderstorm chances that could moderate peak readings. This positions the market's leading implied probabilities on 90-91°F (51%) and 92-93°F (30.5%) as aligned with expected late-summer warmth driven by elevated sea-surface temperatures and lingering El Niño influences favoring above-normal conditions across the Southeast. Historical climatology shows early-September Miami highs averaging near 88-90°F, with recent August extremes (including a 100°F record) underscoring persistent heat but also typical convective capping. Traders appear to weigh model consensus against potential forecast revisions from the National Weather Service as the date approaches, while lower-probability bins reflect uncertainty in exact storm timing and intensity.
