Persistent cloud cover, widespread showers, and elevated humidity tied to a lingering low-pressure system and Tropical Storm Saudel remnants are capping daytime heating across northern Taiwan, keeping forecast highs for Taipei on September 4 clustered near 26–30 °C according to recent Central Weather Administration and international model guidance. Light, variable winds and near-continuous precipitation reduce incoming solar radiation and promote evaporative cooling, narrowing the range between 30 °C and 31 °C outcomes that currently lead trader-implied probabilities. Subtle differences in rain timing, cloud thickness, and boundary-layer moisture will determine whether peak readings reach the higher end of that interval or stay suppressed. Updated model runs and official briefings over the next 24 hours remain the key variables that could shift the narrow market spread.
