Recent forecasts from the Chongqing Meteorological Bureau and global models point to persistent high-pressure conditions favoring mostly sunny to cloudy skies with limited moisture, keeping daily highs in the mid-30s Celsius for September 4. Official outlooks anticipate peaks near 36°C while ensemble guidance clusters around 34–35°C, reflecting typical late-summer variability in the Sichuan Basin where urban heat-island effects and light winds can add 1–2°C locally. Model spread and timing of any weak frontal moisture introduce the main uncertainty, with updated runs from the China Meteorological Administration and international centers expected to narrow the range before resolution. Trader consensus around 34–35°C aligns with this balance of persistent warmth and forecast dispersion.
