Recent numerical weather prediction models from sources like the China Meteorological Administration indicate a highest temperature for Guangzhou on September 2 likely in the 29–32°C range, driven by northerly winds, increasing cloud cover, and scattered precipitation that limits daytime heating. This aligns with trader consensus favoring 29–31°C outcomes amid forecast spread from varying model depictions of rainfall timing and insolation. Historical September averages near 32–33°C provide context, but recent late-August rainfall and transitional monsoon patterns introduce uncertainty in peak values, with resolution depending on official maximum observations.
