Recent official forecasts from the India Meteorological Department and global models indicate partly cloudy skies with a high probability of thunderstorms and rain on September 14, driven by lingering monsoon moisture and easterly steering winds. These conditions limit solar heating and promote evaporative cooling, positioning daily maxima near 31–34°C rather than the September climatological average of 33–34°C. High humidity levels above 70% and dew points near 26–27°C further constrain peak temperatures. Trader consensus reflected in the market-implied probabilities favors 32°C as the most likely outcome, consistent with the latest model consensus and historical analogs for similar late-monsoon setups. Updated IMD briefings and afternoon observations on September 13–14 will provide the key data for final resolution.
