Stable high-pressure conditions and light southeasterly flow are sustaining warm, mostly clear weather over northern Italy, driving market-implied odds toward 28–29°C for Milan’s September 14 maximum. Official and ensemble guidance from sources such as ECMWF and GFS indicate daytime peaks near 26–28°C under minimal cloud cover and dew points in the mid-teens, with only marginal model spread from subtle differences in boundary-layer mixing and exact wind timing. Historical September climatology for the Po Valley supports these values, while the absence of incoming fronts through the weekend reduces downside risk. Traders are weighting the narrow gap between 28°C and 29°C heavily because next-day model runs and local observations could easily shift the final peak by 1°C before resolution.
