Current forecasts for Panama City show highs near 28–31°C on September 13 amid the wet season, with afternoon thunderstorms and cloud cover from Intertropical Convergence Zone activity expected to limit solar heating and cap peaks. High humidity near 80% and light winds reduce evaporative cooling while promoting convective rain that can suppress temperatures by several degrees depending on timing and intensity. Trader consensus around 31–32°C reflects model agreement on typical September maxima near 31°C when convection is moderate, versus lower outcomes if stronger storms develop earlier; historical climatology shows September averages of 31°C with frequent afternoon showers differentiating these close probabilities through subtle shifts in moisture and instability.
