Recent ensemble forecasts from major meteorological centers highlight a persistent high-pressure ridge and southerly flow over the Yellow Sea region, positioning 30°C as the most probable daily maximum for Qingdao on September 23 while keeping 31°C or higher as a plausible upside scenario. Coastal moderation from the sea typically caps extremes, yet current model consensus and the warm anomaly observed through September 21–22 support trader emphasis on these thresholds over cooler outcomes around the 26–27°C climatological norm. Official updates from the China Meteorological Administration in coming hours will refine probabilities ahead of resolution.
