Recent Israeli opinion polls project Likud securing 21–25 Knesset seats in the October 27, 2026, legislative election, down from its 32 seats in 2022, as Gadi Eisenkot’s Yashar party and other opposition groups gain ground. Netanyahu’s broader coalition bloc has slipped to around 48 seats in multiple surveys, remaining short of the 61-seat majority threshold. This positioning reflects voter shifts tied to prolonged security challenges, coalition strains, and Likud’s internal primaries, which have highlighted party divisions ahead of final candidate lists. Traders have incorporated these consistent polling trends into the high probability assigned to Likud losing seats.
