Official National Weather Service forecasts for Atlanta on September 12, 2026, call for an overnight low near 70–72°F under partly cloudy skies and light west winds following scattered daytime thunderstorms, with highs in the mid-80s and elevated humidity limiting radiative cooling. This consensus from recent model runs and surface observations underpins the tight market clustering around the 70–73°F bins, as traders weigh the limited potential for deeper cooling against typical September baseline lows near 70°F. Persistent moisture from prior heavy rainfall episodes and any evening convection could produce minor local variations, while clear breaks would favor the warmer side of the range; updated evening observations and short-term guidance will refine resolution thresholds before midnight.
