Spain enters the 2026 World Cup as heavy favorites to post the highest group-stage goal tally in Group H, reflecting traders' consensus on its superior attacking depth and recent form. As reigning European champions with a dominant qualifying record of 21 goals scored across six matches, Spain faces Cape Verde, Saudi Arabia, and Uruguay in fixtures that typically reward possession-dominant sides capable of creating multiple chances. Uruguay's inconsistent recent results and coaching tensions limit its upside, while the other two sides lack the squad quality and historical scoring rates to challenge consistently. Scenarios that could realistically alter the outcome include major injuries to Spain's key creators, an unusually defensive group-stage approach, or unexpected high-scoring outbursts from Uruguay in favorable matchups.
