Chak Lam Coleman Wong holds a 2-1 head-to-head edge over Billy Harris, with his most recent victory coming in straight sets on hard courts at the 2025 U.S. Open qualifying. This first-round qualifying clash at Roland Garros marks their initial meeting on clay, a surface that rewards consistent baseline play and movement. Wong, currently ranked higher, arrives after a mixed clay-court campaign that included a straight-sets loss to Alex Michelsen in Houston and a recent hard-court Challenger title. Harris, ranked around 148, has shown limited recent success on the surface, with consecutive losses in clay challengers. Both players face the demands of Grand Slam qualifying, where physical endurance and adaptation to the slower red-clay conditions often decide early outcomes.
