Recent National Weather Service forecasts for San Francisco on September 10 project a high near 74°F under partly to mostly sunny conditions with moderate onshore flow, following an above-normal 87°F reading on September 8. Trader consensus clustering around 78–81°F reflects uncertainty in marine layer burn-off timing and boundary-layer mixing, which can add several degrees in urban areas relative to airport observations. Westerly winds of 8–15 mph and a strengthening sea breeze typically cap afternoon peaks near the seasonal 70.5°F average, though lighter flow or delayed stratus clearance could support readings in the upper 70s. Updated model runs and NWS briefings on September 9 will refine these thresholds ahead of market resolution.
