Official National Weather Service forecasts for Seattle on September 8 project a high near 72°F under building high pressure, clear skies, and northerly flow, aligning closely with the 1991–2020 climatological average of 72.4°F. Recent observations show early-September highs fluctuating between 66–74°F with minimal precipitation, supporting trader emphasis on the 74–75°F bin as the leading outcome. Model consensus indicates limited variability from steering patterns and boundary-layer mixing, though localized urban effects or minor forecast revisions could influence the exact maximum recorded at Sea-Tac. Updated model runs and NWS briefings in the next 48 hours represent the primary near-term catalysts for any probability shifts.
