Recent forecast model consensus from sources including GFS data points to a high temperature near 22–24°C for Toronto on September 8, driven by mostly cloudy skies, light southerly or southeasterly flow, and limited daytime heating under high pressure. This aligns with the historical average high of 23.5°C for the date and explains market-implied odds favoring 24°C and 25°C as leading outcomes. Short-range model runs show little day-to-day shift, with afternoon peaks expected around 23–24°C under variable cloud cover that caps further warming. Traders appear to weigh these stable projections heavily against minor upside risks from any clearing trends or model revisions ahead of the daily maximum.
