National Weather Service forecasts and supporting model guidance indicate a typical mid-September pattern for San Francisco, with onshore southwest winds of 10-20 mph and a marine layer supporting partly to mostly cloudy skies that limit daytime heating. This setup positions the daily high near 65-68°F at official observation sites, consistent with the 68-69°F bin holding 51.5% implied probability and the 66-67°F range at 33.5%. Historical September averages near 71°F provide context, yet recent days have trended cooler under similar flow. No significant warming aloft or offshore wind shift appears imminent before resolution, keeping higher bins (70°F+) at low single-digit odds while reinforcing trader consensus around the moderate range.
