Recent National Weather Service and model consensus forecasts indicate a high near 65–70°F for San Francisco on September 15, driven by moderate onshore southwest flow and variable cloud cover that limits daytime heating. Seasonal marine influences typical of the Bay Area, including potential stratus or patchy low clouds, are expected to keep conditions near or slightly below the long-term average high of roughly 71°F. Trader positioning favoring the 68–71°F range aligns with these guidance trends and the absence of anomalous warming patterns, with any late-day clearing or wind shifts representing the main variables that could nudge the peak marginally higher before official observations finalize.
